Don’t Let Injuries Stop You by Mishi

Recently, I was sparring at Taekwondo when I heard a pop. Suddenly, in the middle of my round, there was shooting pain in my shoulder and I could no longer raise it or apply pressure with that arm. I was forced to take a break from Taekwondo as well as any sort of lifting or exercising that would put stress on my shoulder. It was hard, since I really wanted to remain active. I began to look for other forms of exercise, which is how I ended up discovering the joy in running. Since it didn't hurt my shoulder, I decided to commit to a plan and became consistent with running. Tip: As long as you pick a form of exercise that doesn't impact any hurt muscles, it is possible to stay active with an injury.
